Experienced Insulation Installer - Cleveland, TN

$20/hr. base pay while training. Once trained, base pay is $18/hr. + production bonuses!

BASIC FUNCTION: All duties related to the installation of residential and commercial insulation

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Installs batts of insulation in walls and ceilings

- Performs prep work including foam and caulk, fireproofing, baffles, wind tunnels, stuffing windows, filling joist spaces, etc.

- Installs blown-in and/or spray in insulation

- Installs poly or other vapor barriers

- Responsible for loading, unloading, safety checks, and basic maintenance and care of trucks

- Assists as needed in warehouse, including stocking, inventory counts, and unloading

- Completes required paperwork which includes: 1) time worked, 2) footage installed, 3) material loaded on truck, 4) material used, 5) material returned to inventory

- Maintains cleanliness of warehouse in accordance with Tindell's safety and administrative policies

Required Qualifications:

- Skilled Communication and team building traits.

- Previous experience in insulation installation is preferred but not required.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to different job sites.

- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.

- Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to follow safety guidelines.

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

- Willingness to undergo additional training and certifications as required.

- Strong knowledge of insulation materials, installation techniques, and building codes related to insulation.

- Proficiency in using various tools and equipment, including tape measures, cutting tools, staple guns, and blowers.

- Ability to interpret blueprints, construction plans, and insulation specifications.

- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in confined spaces.

- Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently to achieve high-quality insulation installations.

- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues during the insulation installation process.

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, contractors, and homeowners.

- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION:

Valid driver's license with F endorsement

Must be able to pass D.O.T. Physical and drug screen
