Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Construction Maintenance Laborers to join our team. In this role, you will support our construction projects by performing a variety of essential tasks that ensure our homes are built to the highest standards and maintained properly throughout the building and warranty process.
Key Responsibilities
•Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks on residential building sites
•Load, unload, and distribute building materials to appropriate locations on site
•Operate and maintain basic construction equipment and tools
•Perform basic maintenance tasks including minor repairs and upkeep
•Perform basic carpentry work and repairs
•Install and repair hardware fixtures
•Perform cabinet adjustments and repairs
•General new home community maintenance and cleanup
•Erect and dismantle temporary structures, scaffolding, and barricades
•Follow all safety procedures and protocols
•Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites
•Report any issues or concerns to site supervisors
Qualifications
•Previous construction and laborer experience preferred but not required
•Basic knowledge of construction tools
•Basic carpentry and repair skills
•Experience with hardware installation and cabinet adjustments
•Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
•Strong work ethic and dependability
•Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks throughout the workday
•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
•Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
•Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
•High school diploma or GED preferred
