Mid-State Metal Works has been an established precision sheet metal fabricator since 1986. Our machine shop was added in 2019, giving us an even greater capacity to serve our customers. We specialize in precision sheet metal fabrication, quick turn prototype, short & medium-run precision sheet metal manufacturing, CNC machining and light mechanical assembly. Mid-State Metal Works is looking to hire an Experienced AMADA LASER OPERATOR. Minimum 2 years experience running an AMADA LASER. MUST be able to set up jobs & operate an AMADA LASER to produce precision parts. MUST be able to verify and edit programs & problem solve both issues with programs and issues with the laser. Must be able to work independently, read and interpret engineering drawings, inspect work using various measuring instruments, and work from verbal or written instructions or sketches. Self-motivated, hard-working individuals only please. MUST be willing to work overtime as needed up to 50 hours per week. Wonderful opportunity to be part of a high-integrity and growing business. - FLEXIBLE Pick-Your-Hours schedule! Set your 1st shift schedule at your preference, any 40 hour shift set Mon-Fri between 5am and 5:30pm (max 10 non-OT hours per day).
