About This Job

Overview:

Iron Horse Contractors (IHC) is seeking to fill a Lowboy Driver Position. The ideal candidates should have experience transporting heavy equipment to and from job sites safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

•

Safely load, secure, and transport heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, loaders, etc.)

•

Operate a lowboy trailer for local and regional haul.

•

Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.

•

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

•

Communicate with dispatch and job site teams to coordinate deliveries

Requirements:

•

Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License Type A

•

Must have a current medical examiner’s certificate.

•

Knowledge of DOT regulations and load securement.

•

Strong work ethic and reliability.

•

Ability to work flexible hours as needed.

•

Ability to climb in and out of heavy machinery.

•

Perform other related duties as assigned.

•

High School Diploma.
