CORE SHACK ATTENDANT Permanent Position Position to fill 1 Code EXP25-01

The place of work is in Nunavik Deadline to apply April 23rd2025

The normal work schedule is on a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks of rest. responsibilities Reporting to the Exploration Geologist, the Core shack Helper is responsible for assisting the Project Geologists. His main responsibilities are:* To assist the geologists in their day-to-day tasks;

•

Assist in the management of the core shack.

•

Sawing drill core samples.

•

Receiving and storing boxes of cores.

•

Assist in the handling of core boxes, rejects and pulps and other materials;

•

Assist logistics planner with field work;

•

Perform any other tasks that the project geologist or senior technician deems necessary to ensure the efficiency and quality of exploration activities.

Qualifications* Be in good physical shape, be able to lift heavy weights (maximum of 45 lbs);

•

Valid driver's license;

•

Interest in geology and exploration and mining industry;

Assets* Bilingual (French and English).

•

Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook);
