Dock Attendant

Our local office in Olympia, WA is seeking an experienced Dock/Shop Attendant to be one of the first points of contact with our customers. The cylinder dock attendant promotes safety and customer satisfaction to our new and existing clients.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for pumping propane gas, assisting customers, making hoses, refurbishing tanks and inspecting/ re-certifying propane containers. Additionally, the successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining daily records, facility cleanliness/organization, landscaping and pruning, grinding sanding and painting tanks and other related duties. Individual must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment and be multi-task capable.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

· Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Washington driver’s license.

· Able to lift 75 lbs.

· Must have a mechanical aptitude

· Be able to pass a pre employment drug screening and physical

· Have reliable transportation, clean driving record

· Have excellent customer service skills

Desired Qualifications:

· Experience in sales

· Knowledge or experience in face to face customer service

· Previous knowledge or training in the propane industry

No previous experience required, willing to train the right individual. We offer a competitive wage, with medical, dental & 401k benefits package. Work week schedule Monday thru Friday 8-5 lunch 12-1.
