About This Job
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and will be responsible for operating excavators and other machinery to complete various construction projects. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
•
Operate excavators to dig, move, and grade earth materials on construction sites.
•
Perform backhoe operations as needed for various tasks.
•
Safely operate dump trucks, bulldozers, graders, and water trucks to support excavation activities.
•
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•
Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
•
Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating heavy machinery.
•
Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment usage.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators.
•
Familiarity with backhoe operation, dump truck driving, bulldozer, grader operation, and water truck usage is preferred.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
•
Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications is a plus.
•
Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is advantageous but not mandatory.
•
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
•

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
