Road Builder - Experienced Dozer & Excavator Operator

Who are we?

Chu Cho Industries LP. (CCI) is a resource and heavy construction company that works primarily within the forestry, mining, and transportation industries. CCI specializes in timber harvesting, transportation, resource road construction, road maintenance and operation of resource camps. CCI is based in Mackenzie BC and most works are completed within the Mackenzie TSA. CCI operates two industrial properties in Mackenzie which include an 1800 sq. ft. shop on a 5-acre lot and a modern 10,000 sq. ft. shop and office complex on a 10-acre lot. Administration, accounting, and management for CCI is based in Prince George BC.

Chu Cho Industries LP (CCI) is currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Excavator / Dozer Operator to work building logging roads in remote areas in the Mackenzie Forestry District. This position will work in remote areas building and maintaining forestry roads in various terrains and conditions. We are looking for a candidate who has relevant experience and is proficient in using both Dozer and Excavators.

Requirements:

- Remote camp work. 14 days on, 7 days off shift based on 12-hour days (subject to change dependent on the project's scope of work)

- Minimum of 5 years' experience building and maintaining forestry roads using Dozer and Excavator

- Punctual, committed to being on time for every shift

- Can safely and skillfully operate equipment

- Can follow instruction and work well with other employees, displays a “team player” attitude

- Must have a desire to show up for work consistently

- Valid BC Class 5 drivers license

- Able to work comfortably and maintain high levels of performance during 12-hour shift
