About This Job

We're seeking a hands-on Evening Cleaning Supervisor to lead a dedicated team of 3 in maintaining a 7-floor high-rise office building. This position is ideal for a dependable leader who thrives under pressure and knows how to deliver consistent results—even when working with a facilities manager who closely monitors performance.

Schedule

•

Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

•

Supervise, clean, support, and motivate a team of 3 cleaners.

•

Ensure all floors and common areas meet the clients quality standards.

•

Communicate effectively with the on-site facilities manager and respond professionally to feedback and direction.

•

Perform hands-on cleaning duties as needed to maintain workflow and quality.

•

Conduct daily walkthroughs and inspections to verify tasks are completed correctly and on time.

•

Train new team members and ensure ongoing compliance with safety and cleaning protocols.

•

Troubleshoot minor issues quickly and escalate larger concerns to senior management.

Requirements

•

2+ years of janitorial or cleaning supervision experience (commercial high-rise experience preferred).

•

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team under pressure.

•

Dependable and self-motivated with a “get it done” attitude.

•

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

•

Ability to take initiative and solve problems independently.

•

Comfortable working under close oversight while maintaining professionalism and quality.

Duties

•

Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.

•

Supervise cleaning staff as needed to ensure adherence to company standards and protocols.

•

Manage custodial tasks in commercial cleaning environments, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

•

Launder linens and towels as required in hospitality settings.

•

Assist in housekeeping management by maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and reporting any shortages.

•

Provide leadership by training new staff on cleaning procedures and best practices.

•

Respond promptly to cleaning requests from guests or management to maintain high levels of satisfaction.

Qualifications

•

Previous experience in cleaning or custodial roles is preferred; experience in commercial cleaning or hospitality is a plus.

•

Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently while maintaining high standards.

•

Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

•

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

•

Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.

•

Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Part-time
