The Project ManagerEFC main responsibility is to provide and monitor a safe working environment for all employees.support for the estimators. This position includes responsibility for communication and reporting to the corporate office and for collaboration with the VP of Operations, VP/GM, Site Operations Manager PMs,e and EstimatingVP/GM. The Project ManagerEFC will spend approx. 85% of time with SEs and 15% with VP/GM on other duties assigned.
The Estimating Coordinator Project Manager is responsible for achieving the defined project goals and adhering to the professional standards of Wallworks. Success is defined by the following 3 categories:
1. Safety – Ensuring Employee safety with a goal of zero lost days due to injury
1. Safety – Implementing and monitoring Wallworks Safety Program
1. Management Data Management – Assisting OM in all aspects of Field OperationsData Entry to assist with Sales Metrics and Project Set Up
2. Productivity – Ensuring estimators are set up and ready to produce estimates
1. Customer Satisfaction – Manage the customer relationship to achieve positive customer feedback and retention
The EstimatingField Coordinator assumes overall responsibility for meeting project management standards on one or more projects while delivering a high quality of service and project deliverables while staying on schedule and within budgetresponsibilities include assisting the Estimators in project set up, updating estimating calendar, tracking of bid wins and losses, . Specific Responsibilities include:
o Download Contract Documents from customer websites and organize in e files for Estimators
o Upload drawings from e files to OST
o Overlay new drawings over older drawings in OST
o Enter projects after bid into Bidding Status spread sheet
o Manage multiple construction projects and interact with contractors and subcontractors on a daily basis.
o Interact with and communicate with Customers, Design Professionals, and General Contractor to ensure project goals are met.
o Assist OM in procurement of equipment for new projects
o Establish on-site organization and clear authority structure in order to achieve goals of the Project / Client.
o Addresses problems through risk management and contingency planning and presents solutions and/or options to executive management. Ensures effective implementation of solutions/changes.
o Procure employee tools and loan forms for approval
o Monthly meeting with Operations Manager to discuss upcoming equipment needsAssist Estimators in project follow up
o Monitor and catalog transfer of equipment from site to site Keep estimating calendar up to date
o Assist estimators in obtaining specialty pricing from vendorsequipment and OM
o Confirm bid dates with customers and communicate to SEsInventory of equipment and sundries at WW office
o Assist with coordination of job transfer from Estimators to PMs
o Create E files and Hard files for all new projects
