ESP Hotshot Driver

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced ESP Hotshot Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with different types of trailers, and picking up ESPs and laying down ESPs a commitment to safety and professionalism. Duties

- Operate Pole Truck with 40 ft goose neck making sure ESPs are picked up and layed down and helping tech in process

- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations

- Safely load, secure, and unload cargo according to industry standards

- Drive route-specific deliveries, adhering to schedules and traffic laws

- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams

- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous or specialized freight

- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly

Requirements

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type (manual transmission experience preferred)

- Proven experience in truck driving, especially in freight delivery, route driving, or similar roles

- Experience with picking up ESPs and laying them down and strapping properly

- Ability to load & unload freight efficiently and safely using forklifts or manual methods

- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial trucking and freight handling

- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record

- Ability to operate various types of trucks including tractor-trailers and specialized vehicles

- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road

- Prior experience with delivery driver responsibilities preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 per week
