POSITION SUMMARY:
The Equipment System Technician is responsible for providing office support to ensure efficient operation of the equipment system, which includes equipment tracking, maintenance and billing systems for all business units. This position will be part of the team that enters data, organizes files, creates correspondence, prepares documents, and offers general support to the organization as it relates to equipment management. This role will interact with a variety of people, from field employees to management. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is recommended for effective communication.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions of the job will include, but not limited to, the following:
•Accurate weekly booking of equipment usage hours to projects
•Communication with the field to resolve missing hours
•Update meter readings and mileage
•Update locations transfers
•Ensure truck and trailers maintain current registration
•Manage titles and title transfers for the vehicle fleet
•Track Oil Changes and transmission services for vehicle fleet
•Prepare regular equipment reports for distribution to the management team
•Ability to travel to the DMV and tax office
•Other general administrative tasks as required
DOT Compliance:
•Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, including drug and alcohol testing requirements.
•Ensure all drivers meet necessary qualifications and have received appropriate training.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
•High school diploma or equivalent
•3+ years of administrative experience
•Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred
