The Environmental Summer Intern will assist the Environmental department in maintaining compliance with regulations applicable to Buckeye’s generation resources.
- Develop knowledge of environmental permits and regulations.
- Assist in updating and maintaining the environmental compliance management system.
- Consolidate data for chemical inventory database and mapping. Update associated plans and reports as directed.
- Provide support in completing compliance inspections at Cardinal.
- Become familiar with environmental data collection sources to assist with data requests.
- Audit standard work documents, procedures, and spreadsheets. Work with staff to update as needed.
- Manage document libraries in the SharePoint and environmental compliance management systems.
- Prior experience with managing and maintaining large Excel files
- Prior experience with data management, analysis, and interpretation
- Attention to detail
- Experience with ArcGIS is ideal, but not a requirement
- Experience with R coding language is ideal, but not a requirement
