Job Description

We are looking for experienced drillers or drilling assistants/apprentices that have a potential to move into other roles with the right qualifications, such as HRSC (MIP, HPT, OIP, etc) Specialists. Job requires travel to sites around Colorado and surrounding states. Must be physically fit, able to lift 50-100 lbs, and safety focused. Ideal candidates are team players, able to work long hours while onsite, and looking for a career with a rapidly growing Environmental company. Physical, background, other testing required for pre-employment. Possible management/salary/bonus positions later on for the right candidates.

The first position is for an individual looking for a good career path as an apprentice driller/assistant helper with a fast growing national company based in Golden Co. The position could start with training and assisting experienced driller operators and could quickly grow into a high level driller operator position and/or subsurface imaging specialist (geoscientist). And ideal candidate would be an environmental scientist, geologist, or experienced, (but not necessary). The right candidate will have high ethics, extremely hard working, easily handles the outdoor elements and travel, works well as a team or alone, follows all safety and communication protocals, and needs to be an extremely fast learner. Ideal to have a HAZWOPER certification, but not necessary yet. The position will be focused on learning and assisting on a Geoprobe 7822 or similar DPT/auger rig, with a bit of shop and maintenance time too. Job requires travel to sites around Colorado and surrounding states. Must be physically fit, able to lift 50- 100 lbs, and safety focused. Physical, background, other testing required for pre-employment. Possible promotion to eventually becoming a Drilling Operator and/or another Science role for the right candidate.
