What does an Entry Physical Security Analyst do for us?
With some oversight, the Entry Physical Security Analyst is responsible for assisting with designing, consulting, implementing, and executing Idaho Powers comprehensive company-wide physical security operations program. This role will focus on the operational development, execution, and management of Idaho Power’s Security Operations Center (SOC) and includes:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working near other people. There may be occasional lifts of no more than 10 lbs. The ability to respond calmly to and control situations where violent behavior may occur is also required. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete scheduled compliance training and submit to periodic background investigation as mandated by NERC. Must be part of an ongoing revolving duty schedule involving being on-call 24 hours a day/7 days a week for two weeks straight. Must be able to assist with external security risk assessments; respond to intrusion detection incidents; and assist with physical security testing/installations, etc. in potentially adverse or uncomfortable weather conditions. Position requires minimal travel, including overnight and occasionally out of state.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Works independently, under minimal supervision with general to moderate scope. Prepares and presents reports as needed. Works within a budget. Hours for this position would be from 8am-4pm Monday through Friday.
