Engineering Technologist/Drafter

Fortis Mining, Engineering, & Manufacturing is currently recruiting for an Engineering Technologist/Drafter. Fortis is a strong leader in Canadian mining, and we pride ourselves on the work we do, and the people and communities we work with. The Engineering Technologist/Drafter provides technical support and services to the engineering team. Working with the manufacturing division, mining division, lifelines division, and others, the technologist collaborates on, assists with, and designs mechanical and structural components and equipment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Prepare drawings and specifications + Liaise with personnel from other divisions to gather additional information, as required + Collaborate with all parties to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and discuss alternative designs
