- Provide technical and design support.
- Assemble and construct system assemblies.
- Conduct test and debug electronic or electrical designs.
- Assist with organization, checking of documentation for equipment.
- Assist in review of manuals for equipment.
- Requisition parts and/or materials for projects.
- Prepare drawings and/or sketches, wire list and parts list.
- Review and correct documentation for projects.
- Maintains and upgrades testing equipment.
- Repairs and troubleshoot electronic, electrical and/or mechanical equipment.
- Technical support of field equipment.
- Program PLC and HMI.
- Program AC/DC drives.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.
- Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-year technical degree and/or equivalent experience in the related field preferred.
- 3 years' experience in a field support role is required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of technical ability.
- Ability to solve complex problems and to relate to technical knowledge to specific applications.
- Domestic and international travel.
- Must be able to lift minimum 50lbs.
- Must be able to stand in uncomfortable positions for some periods of time.
- Must be able to work in varied weather conditions.
- Must be comfortable getting dirty, and/or working in manufacturing areas.
- Must be comfortable working at heights/manlifts.
