We are seeking a technically skilled Engineering Program Lead to manage & lead projects in engine performance development and control systems engineering. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams to drive development of engine control strategies and engine performance capabilities to meet our customers’ expectations.
- Lead and manage programs focused on engine performance optimization and advanced control systems development.
- Collaborate with engineering, testing, and service teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-performance engine solutions.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure timely and successful program execution.
- Track and report on program milestones, performance metrics, and deliverables to stakeholders.
- Identify technical challenges in engine performance and controls, and drive resolution through innovative solutions.
- Contribute to team throughput by individually executing short turnaround technical deliverables within the controls and performance teams. Specifics to be agreed based on capabilities of applicant.
- Promote best practices in engine control algorithm development and calibration.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of engineering experience in product and technology development.- Proven experience in program or project management within engine development and/or control systems engineering.
- Strong technical background in engine performance, calibration, and control systems design.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Effective communicator, able to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, etc) and methodologies (Agile, PMP, etc) is a plus.
