Engineering Lab Tech

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play an important role in the development and analysis of new products.

Duties

- Plans sequence of testing for instruments and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and other specifications.

- Sets up test equipment and conducts tests on performance and reliability of mechanical, structural, or electromechanical equipment.

- Prepare samples for testing.

- Perform UL strength test.

- Perform leak, flow, and cycle tests to engineering, UL, and ISO standards.

- Assist engineers in problem solving.

- Test new and existing parts to qualification test plans.

- Perform refrigerant compatibility test.

Minimum Qualifications

- Strong hands-on skills and comfort working with tools and mechanical equipment.

- Comfortable working around high pressure and using a torch to braze test samples.

- Two (2) years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Basic computer skills including experience in Microsoft Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
