About This Job
Working alongside the Engineering Supervisor assessing joint use activities across the system. Auditing and entering pertinent data in a tracking system to make sure NESC codes are being met, and accurate data is being submitted. Other possibilities are assisting engineering personnel performing line design, system map maintenance, and data maintenance activities and tasks as assigned.
•Work with engineering personnel doing assigned daily tasks for joint use attachments in the field.
•Perform assigned data entry projects as directed to provide useful information for distribution system analysis.
•Work with engineering personnel performing other engineering related tasks as directed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Knowledge of Computer Aided Drafting Software
•Knowledge of map reading, plotting and interpretation
•Demonstrated problem solving skills
•Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and to work with technical information
•Ability to work effectively with employees and the membership
•Ability to read and interpret documents
•Ability to write simple correspondence
Working Conditions.
Office and outside work in various conditions. The Engineering intern will work through the summer of 2025, but could extend into part-time employment thru December 2025.
