Eversource is looking for an
Engineer, Strategy and Economics
to support
Transmission
located in
Westwood, MA
,
Hartford, CT
or
Manchester, NH
. You will be responsible for supporting the team lead with electricity market simulation modeling, data analysis, and industry research. This includes collaboration with a team of engineers and analysts to provide the most accurate and useful information to inform how electric transmission can best enable the growth of clean energy technologies and meet the aggressive decarbonization goals of the New England states. This position will have a particular focus on tracking, reporting, and estimating power sector carbon emissions, through both simulation modeling and historical data. This will require interfacing with internal and external experts to gather data and useful knowledge. This position will begin by focusing on historical data and economic models, but there is a potential opportunity in the future for this position to support the implementation of cutting-edge software that tracks carbon flows on the transmission network.
Essential Functions:
the equivalent in combined education and experience is required; preferred Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering

The annual salary range for this position is:
$97,570.00-$108,410.00
