Lake Shore Gold (a subsidiary of Pan American Silver) is located in Timmins, Ontario. The Bell Creek Complex, located approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Timmins, consists of an underground mine and processing facility. Mineralization is associated with the Porcupine-Destor fault system within the Abitibi greenstone belt, with ore mined by narrow vein longhole stoping methods. Ore is then transported to the surface via a modern 1080m deep shaft capable of 4800tpd.

About the Opportunity

We are looking to hire an Engineer in Training/Engineering Graduate for one of our mine sites in Timmins, Ontario on a full-time basis.Candidates can choose a work schedule of either Monday-Friday, 8 hours a day, or 4 days on/3 days off, 10-hour shifts.

As an Engineer in Training/Engineering Graduate, you will follow a rotation through various engineering functions (on surface and underground) that may include:

The role may include time embedded with various underground production crews in order to understand mine production roles first hand.

This position is located in Timmins, ON, and requires relocation to the Timmins, ON area. It is not a camp location.
