About the Role:

Perform assembly and disassembly of various engines and their assemblies, accessory units , and driven equipment . Build complete engines and driven equipment prior to and after testing. Perform overhaul of engines, packages, and assemblies. Perform balancing of rotating parts and assemblies.

What You Will Do:

- Assemble, tear down, reassemble, and rework complete engines, assemblies, subassemblies, accessory units, and driven equipment.

- Utilizing a working knowledge of turbomachinery products and working from operational paper, blueprints, written and/or oral instructions, or photographs. Disassemble and rebuild any Solar or customer turbomachinery product.

- Balance a variety of parts, assemblies, and subassemblies to Solar standards.

- Change accessible filters and lubricate own machine tools as required.

What You Have:

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

- Experience with precision measuring devices (multimeters, dial calipers, depth mics, ect.)

- Be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.

- Willing to work any shift

- Ability to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous Engine Mechanic experience

- Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written.

Summary Pay Range:

$23.00 - $39.86
