We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in Canada. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and repairing our rental equipment, ensuring that we meet the operational needs of our clients effectively. Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on rental equipment

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery

- Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery

- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities

- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies

- Assist in training new staff on equipment handling

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop

- Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role in the oilfield or heavy equipment industry

- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand and power tools

- Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical problems efficiently

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety

- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

- Valid clean driver's license; additional certifications are a plus

- Ability to pass drug, alcohol and fit testing.

- Live in or around Whitecourt, Alberta.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
