The Energy Pricing Analyst I is responsible to manage schedule and time to acquire a knowledge of pricing/estimating for EaaS projects. This includes constructability narratives, direct contractor pricing, financial pricing model, definitive transaction documents, etc.

Responsibilities include the ability to plan and conduct work requiring judgement in independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria

Specific responsibilities include:

Coordinate with external resources, equipment vendors, and internal team members to ensure that the client requirements have been accurately documented and communicated to all parties.

Manage project information from internal and external stakeholders; and distribute to project team.

Continuously track project metrics to ensure that the project is delivered on time, and on budget.

Conducts site surveys to determine existing facility conditions with a keen eye on the construction aspect related to project pricing.

Manage schedule and time to acquire a knowledge of all aspects of pricing for projects including constructability narratives, direct contractor pricing, financial pricing model, definitive transaction documents, etc.

Accompanies senior level staff/project manager in the project transition process from the pricing team to the program management team.

Actively attend in-house and external training sessions to obtain knowledge in necessary technical areas related to building systems.

Participate in industry organizations and attends events, meetings, and activities.

Qualifications:

Four Year college degree. Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from a four year ABET accredited university or related technical or construction management degree.

Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and aptitude.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written format

Ability to communicate effectively with facility managers and engineers.

Ability to work independently to meet deadlines while on survey.

Ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.

Ability to use technology and apps for collecting data while on survey.

Passion for quality and client satisfaction

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Detail oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast paced environment.

Well versed in the industry and the Company’s competitors.

Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of scope of work when necessary

Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications

Preferred experience with building energy services in the health and higher-education field.

Experience with financial plans and budget objectives.

Knowledge of the comprehensive business model and energy market dynamics.

Knowledge of the energy industry and related law, systems, codes and economics

Travel Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required.

20-30% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.


Physical/Work Environment Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.


Climbing stairs.

Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
