This position works under the supervision of the manager for the promotion, oversight, management, and delivery of the Company's Energy Efficiency programs.

Responsibilities:

- In all instances, embody and support the Company-wide safety efforts and set expectations for safe work practices with contracted business partners.

- Elevate any safety issues as outlined by Company policies and reporting procedures.

- Professionally represent the Company and its values when engaging with internal and external stakeholders and customers.

- Develop and maintain a full understanding of the energy efficiency program content, program guidelines, applications, eligibility requirements, and submit recommendations, as appropriate.

- Under supervision and with assistance, monitor and manage program budgets and forecasts, promptly and accurately review and submit program-related invoices for payment, and promptly and accurately submit accruals by the expressed deadline.

- Under supervision and with assistance, monitor and report on program metrics ensuring targets are met. Provide timely and accurate information for reporting purposes by the expressed deadlines.

- Promptly identify and work with internal teams and contracted business partners to resolve any data quality issues.

- Under supervision and with assistance, work directly with contracted business partners regarding their activities and performance, program materials, training, expectations for customer service, and methods to achieving the program metrics within budget.

- Develop and maintain a full understanding of the contractual obligations with contracted business partners, ensure full compliance with the scope of work, and under supervision and with assistance, promptly manage the necessary Supply Chain procurement activities ahead of contract expirations.

- Under supervision and with assistance, and in collaboration with internal teams, outline strategies and tactics used to build customer awareness and participation in assigned programs.

- Identify and communicate opportunities to engage in community events, energy-efficiency related conferences, or related activities to build customer awareness of the programs and increase participation.

- Participate in the events as a professional representative of the Company and the energy efficiency programs.

- Assist the team, as necessary, in the independent evaluation processes and contracted business partner engagement and participate in the related work necessary to complete the review.

- Develop and maintain an effective network of internal and external stakeholders specific to the assigned programs to ensure awareness and engagement of the Company’s energy efficiency programs to their customers.

- Provide back up to other Energy Efficiency positions, as required and assigned.

- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


Required Education

Bachelor's Degree in economics, finance, math, engineering, business, or related field


Required Experience

- Must possess considerable oral and written skills to develop presentations and interface with personnel within the department and within other departments and external agencies, engage positively and responsively with outside customers, and work with industry groups and other utility companies to exchange information.

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Ability to work under pressure, ambiguity, and overcome obstacles in a dynamic work environment.

- Ability to adapt and tailor approach to a wide variety of audiences.

- Ability to organize information, both quantitative and qualitative.

- Comfort level with working effectively independently, as well as with a team.


Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of energy efficiency and related technologies and building science

- Experience in customer service-related positions or engaging with external customers with the expectation of providing exceptional and timely customer service

- Effective time management and project planning skills

- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of database applications

- Demonstrated experience with managing a budget and related accounting principles

- Additional education and Energy Efficiency Certifications is preferred
