You Will Be Trusted To
- Monitor and maintain network system.
- Perform security patch evaluation and plan for update if needed.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders to help deploying new network services and troubleshoot any network related issues.
- Perform network testing and evaluate new hardware and technology.
- Document changes through ticketing system.
- Four or more years of experience in a technical field, computer science, engineering, network systems, or relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in computer science, information technology, telecommunications, engineering, or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Knowledge of EMS/Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) applications or prior work experience in a mission critical or controls environment.
- Experience operating networks.
- Knowledge of network related platforms, technologies, and protocols inclusive of Cisco IOS, Cisco NXOS, Juniper JunOS, OSPF, BGP, Ipsec, Firewall, IDS/IPS
- Juniper JNCIA security/firewall and Cisco CCNA Routing-switching certificates highly prefered
