Networking Engineer

Pay Range: $30$40 per hour (or annual salary), based on experience

Schedule: Full-time | MondayFriday |

About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Networking Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting. You'll play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity across all systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.

- Troubleshoot network performance issues and implement timely solutions.

- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

- Perform regular network maintenance, upgrades, and security audits.

- Collaborate with IT team members to support servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

- Document network configurations, processes, and changes.

- Ensure compliance with company security policies and best practices.

- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other departments as needed.

Qualifications

- Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.

- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, hardware, and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).

- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or other enterprise networking equipment.

- Familiarity with network security practices and firewall management.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Security+) preferred.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
