The Emissions Technician, under the supervision of the Service Supervisor, is responsible for providing technical services related to troubleshooting, testing, and repairing units. Some duties will include repairing vent valves, thief hatches, and cleaning or replacing flame arrestors on the flare line. The Emissions Tech will also be responsible for making repairs on elevated equipment which would require a manlift or the use of a bucket truck. The Emissions Technician will maintain effective communication with fellow team members and clients. The Technician must perform their duties to ensure the safety of themselves and those around them and ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the work area. This role is highly comparable to that of a Roustabout in the Oilfield; Roustabout experience would be a great asset. The duties and responsibilities of the Emissions Technician include, but are not limited to the following:
· Performs various tasks, including inspecting equipment, cleaning work areas and making repairs to ensure the safety and proper function of the equipment on various worksites.
· Ability to display and utilize basic knowledge of Monitoring and repairing oilfield-related equipment such as Thief Hatches, Flares, and Vent Valves.
· Ability to make repairs on elevated equipment such as vent valves and flares which would require a manlift or the use of a bucket truck.
· Travels onsite to complete service work and monthly preventative maintenance requirements for related products.
· Inspects, investigates and troubleshoots equipment for quality control and improvements.
· Works and communicates safely and effectively with field operations, fellow employees, and contractors.
· Must be a highly motivated individual who can conduct daily work operations without much supervision.
· Ensures all appropriate records are maintained such as inventories of parts, equipment, tools, work orders, timesheets, etc.
· Provide onsite and remote technical support to necessary persons (customers, manufacturers, distributors, etc.) for product installs, troubleshooting, and training.
· Uses and adapts computer programs to retrieve and analyze data.
· Available for 24-hour on-call duty and subject to callouts and travel time for work associated with field operations and/or emergency response.
· Maintains cleanliness of the work area and associated equipment.
· Proactively responds and adapts in the work environment to meet the highest standards.
· Prioritizes and coordinates work activities to complete jobs individually and as a team.
· Expresses ideas clearly in written and oral communication with team members and management to complete various jobs.

· Ability to apply basic knowledge of computers and office equipment.
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
· Must be able to repeatedly walk, sit, stand, climb, twist/turn, push/pull, squat, crawl/kneel, and reach above the shoulder.
· Must be able to perform repetitive hand/wrist/arm movements.
· Previous Oil Field experience is a plus
