Crosby Energy Services is currently seeking experienced Offshore Electricians to join our team in support of oil and gas operations. This position involves working in hazardous-area environments and performing high-standard electrical work in compliance with safety and operational procedures.
•Install, isolate, and reinstate electrical equipment, including cable glanding and termination
•Install electrical systems such as cables, conduit, cable tray, junction boxes, and panels in hazardous areas
•Read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and job cards
•Perform work in accordance with applicable job packs, procedures, and industry standards
•Complete construction testing and support other trades as part of a multi-discipline team
•Initiate and manage Permit to Work (PTW) processes to ensure safe operations
•Conduct Risk Assessments (RA) before beginning work to maintain a safe environment
Minimum Qualifications
•Recognized Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent technical training
•Relevant electrical certifications
•BOSIET and an approved offshore medical certificate
Preferred Qualifications
•COMPEX certification (or other hazardous-area electrical equipment certifications)
•Familiarity with IEE Wiring Regulations (Current Edition preferred)
•Experience with Permit Vision or similar electronic permit systems
•3+ years of experience post-apprenticeship, including:
•Electrical installation, isolation, and testing
•Construction or operational electrical duties (non-‘Ex’ rated)
•Offshore experience in a similar role is preferred

Crosby Energy Services is hiring experienced Offshore Electricians to support oil and gas operations in the Gulf of Mexico. This rotational 14/14 field position is based out of Venice, LA and requires H2S training. Candidates must have a strong background in electrical installation, isolation, and testing—particularly in hazardous-area environments. A recognized electrical apprenticeship, BOSIET, and offshore medical certification are required. Offshore experience and COMPEX certification are preferred. We're looking for dependable, safety-focused individuals who can work independently and as part of a multi-discipline team.
