Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and have hands-on experience in both industrial and construction environments. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality workmanship, ensuring all electrical installations and repairs meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.

- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.

- Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic equipment and problem-solving skills.

- Work with low voltage systems as required, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

- Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical work.

- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used on job sites.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial settings preferred.

- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, wiring methods, and installation techniques.

- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential.

- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.

- Experience in renovation projects is advantageous.

- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.93-$47.53 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
