Electrician Journeyman / Level 4 Apprentice

It's On Electric Company is a full-service electrical contracting and energy management company located in Surrey, BC. We are currently seeking a keen and eager Journeyman Electrician or Level 3/4 Apprentice to work out of our Surrey office. Majority of the work will be residential service work with a focus on upgrading electrical panels in the Lower Mainland, and also working on a variety of electrical energy-saving projects for BC Hydro. Must have a strong passion for working every day to better the environment through electrical work that promotes energy efficiency.

Duties include:

- Electrical panel upgrades

- All facets of residential electrical service and new construction

- Installation of residential EV chargers

- Installation of energy-saving smart devices in homes, and connection to wifi as required. (Smart thermostats, Load controllers, Smart switches/dimmers, TLED etc)

- Various other commercial and residential electrical support as required by the team.

Must have the following qualifications:

- Redseal or TQ (If you are not legally able to work in BC as a journeyman electrician you will not be considered)

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Ability to trouble-shoot electrical and lighting systems

- Be tech savvy - wifi networks and connectivity

- Be open-minded, passionate and trainable

- Ability to work independently, take directions, and work as part of a team.

- Excellent paperwork (physical and electronic), note tracking, and be detailed oriented.

- Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record

- Must pass a criminal record and background check.

We will provide the right candidate with training on our systems and what we do, as well as with a vehicle (take-home), tools and equipment, cellphone/iPad, uniform and everything that you will need to do the job!

This position is best suited for a keen, "green", socially conscious, tech savvy, forward thinking electrician.

This is a FT salaried position.

Experience:

- Journeyman Electrician: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers Licence (required)

- TQ or Red Seal Electrician Certification (preferred)
