Job Summary
Rifenburg is seeking an experienced Electrician to lead and manage electrical work on commercial, industrial, and airfield projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety, quality, and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities
•Manage electrical installations for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sites
•Install, maintain, and troubleshoot single- and three-phase AC systems
•Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and site plans
•Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
•Ensure work complies with NEC, OSHA, and project safety standards
•Perform conduit, wiring, and panel installations
•Troubleshoot Electrical circuits, control panels, and low-voltage systems
•Conduct system testing with diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters)
•Supervise, train, and support electricians and apprentices
•Manage installation of pipes, conduits, and raceways
•Track materials, tools, and supplies to support job-site needs
•Document progress, material usage, and safety compliance daily
•Collaborate with other trades on multi-discipline projects
Required Qualifications
•3+ years as an Electrical Foreman or Lead Electrician
•Expert in single- and three-phase AC systems
•Proficient in commercial/industrial wiring and schematics
•Airfield electrical experience a plus
•Skilled in troubleshooting Electrical circuits and low-voltage systems
•Knowledge of NEC and OSHA compliance
•Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
•Able to manage teams and project deadlines
•Familiar with construction software (a plus)
•Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
•Equipment Operation Experience
Physical Requirements
•Work outdoors in various weather conditions
•Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
•Perform physical tasks: bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling
•Comfortable with heights, tight spaces, and near heavy equipment
