Overview
We are seeking skilled Electricians and helpers to join our team. The ideal candidate must have 3yrs experience in electrical systems, with experience in both commercial and residential settings. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work with various electrical tools and equipment. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Duties
•
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
•
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
•
Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
•
Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.
•
Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure proper installation of electrical components.
•
Perform low voltage and high voltage installations as required by project specifications.
•
Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites.
•
Document all work performed, including any changes made to existing systems.
Requirements
•
Proven 3yrs experience as an Electrician in commercial or residential settings.
•
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety protocols.
•
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively.
•
Familiarity with using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
•
Experience with frame carpentry is a plus.
•
Ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction sites.
•
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•
Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical work are preferred but not mandatory.
•
Must speak fluent English.
•
Must be able to work 7am to 3:30pm M-F.
•
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
•
Must have reliable transportation.
