Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both high and low voltage systems, with a strong understanding of electrical schematics and blueprints. This role involves working on construction sites, ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs are completed safely and efficiently. The Electrician will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical issues, performing routine maintenance, and adhering to all safety protocols.
Looking for someone with at least 2-4 years experience to join team. Possibly work into a lead-man/forman roll.
Responsibilities
•Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
•Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
•Use various tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to test electrical systems for functionality.
•Troubleshoot electrical issues by diagnosing problems with wiring, circuits, or equipment.
•Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes during installations and repairs.
•Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
•Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
•Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Requirements
•Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in an industrial or construction setting.
•Strong knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems.
•Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical work.
•Familiarity with using testing equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
•Ability to perform frame carpentry tasks as needed for installation purposes is a plus.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
•Valid electrician's license or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
