Electrician

Amp Flow Electric is now hiring a Rhode Island licensed Journeyman Electrician for a full time permanent position in the RI and MA area.

This is an immediate opening that pays $36 - $42/hr depending on experience.

Requirements:

Must hold a valid Rhode Island Journeyman Electrical license

A valid form of transportation

Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment

- Perform electrical inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards

- Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide effective solutions

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

- Keep accurate records of work performed

Skills:

- Proficient in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and repair

- Knowledge of power tools and equipment used in the trade

- Familiarity with frame carpentry techniques for electrical installations

- Experience working as a commercial electrician preferred

- Understanding of low voltage systems and their components

- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Familiarity with high voltage systems and safety precautions

- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues

- Excellent attention to detail for accurate installations and repairs
