Job Summary
The Electrical Technician is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and performing repairs and planned maintenance on equipment. This role requires maintaining effective customer relations and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess basic equipment issues and implement appropriate repairs. Perform planned maintenance (PM), safety, and environmental inspections as assigned.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and protocols. Complete necessary documentation accurately and timely.
- Maintain daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
- Support business goals and objectives by implementing customer facility contracts.
- Work collaboratively with local team members to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within the assigned area.
- Document all repair actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule. Ensure proper care of spares, tools, and test equipment, and ensure calibration.
- Enhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes, and procedures regarding the safe and effective use/handling of equipment through formal training.
- Meet all other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Education: Minimum High School Diploma/GED required.
- Experience/Training:
- Minimum of one-year experience or equivalent formal training in maintaining electronics or electromechanical equipment.
- Previous experience in developing and maintaining good customer relations.
- Certification: Trade certificate required or equivalent training.
