Job Summary
We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Supervisor to lead and support electrical journeypersons and apprentices across our commercial and industrial projects in Delaware. This role combines hands-on electrical work with team supervision, technical guidance, and compliance management. The Electrical Supervisor ensures that all work is executed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications, company policies, and NEC standards.
Key Responsibilities
•Supervise and coordinate daily work for assigned electricians and apprentices
•Review and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and job specifications
•Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC)
•Conduct safety meetings, enforce OSHA and company policies, and report incidents immediately
•Troubleshoot, inspect, and provide direction on installation, maintenance, and repairs
•Ensure proper installation of concealed wiring prior to completion of walls, ceilings, and floors
•Communicate effectively with project managers, estimators, and other trade leads to maintain job flow
•Maintain daily logs, crew time, material usage, and job progress documentation
•Mentor and evaluate team members to promote quality work and professional development
•Attend a minimum of 5 hours of electrical code classes per year (certificate of attendance required)
Requirements
•Licensed Journeyperson or Master Electrician in the state of Delaware
•Graduate of an electrical trades program (preferred)
•Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
•Must pass a drug screening and background check
•Must possess valid identification and be authorized to work in the U.S.
•Reliable transportation to and from job sites
•Proficient in blueprint reading and use of electrical tools and testing equipment
•OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
Physical Requirements
•Able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
•Ability to climb stairs, ladders (6’ to 40’), and work on raised platforms
•Comfortable working in confined spaces and outdoor environments
•May be required to dig ditches and perform other physically demanding tasks
