Electrical R&D Engineer – Transformers

How You’ll Make An Impact

- Contribute innovative electrical design ideas to R&D projects

- Lead or support R&D initiatives, ensuring alignment with time, cost, and quality goals

- Coordinate prototype manufacturing and testing activities

- Define and execute Design of Experiments to validate solutions

- Document project progress and derive design rules from results

- Engage in intellectual property discussions and risk identification

- Provide technical support to factories, marketing teams, and customers

- Collaborate with global R&D teams to optimize electrical design.

- Contribute to product cost out improvements foreseen under R&D projects and dedicated to Jefferson City location. Support development of design portfolio manufactured in Jeff City.

Your Background

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

- 2+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably in transformers

- Experience in R&D within a business environment is a plus

- Knowledge of magnetic, dielectric, or thermal design preferred

- Familiarity with FEM or 2D circuit simulation tools is beneficial

- Strong communication skills and a creative, solution-oriented mindset
