Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and construction management, with expertise in system design and construction estimating. This role requires proficiency in various software tools, including Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Prolog, and a solid understanding of contract management. The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
•Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
•Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to define project scope and objectives.
•Utilize construction estimating techniques to prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical systems.
•Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications.
•Implement project management best practices to track progress and report on project status.
•Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress, address issues, and ensure safety compliance.
•Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
•Maintain comprehensive project documentation using Prolog for tracking changes and updates.
•Foster effective communication among all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
•Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
•Strong knowledge of system design principles related to electrical installations.
•Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid.
•Experience with project management tools like Bluebeam for document management.
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
•Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
•Familiarity with contract management processes is preferred.
•A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
