Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and construction management, with expertise in system design and construction estimating. This role requires proficiency in various software tools, including Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Prolog, and a solid understanding of contract management. The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

•

Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.

•

Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to define project scope and objectives.

•

Utilize construction estimating techniques to prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical systems.

•

Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications.

•

Implement project management best practices to track progress and report on project status.

•

Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress, address issues, and ensure safety compliance.

•

Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

•

Maintain comprehensive project documentation using Prolog for tracking changes and updates.

•

Foster effective communication among all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry.

•

Strong knowledge of system design principles related to electrical installations.

•

Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid.

•

Experience with project management tools like Bluebeam for document management.

•

Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.

•

Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

•

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

•

Familiarity with contract management processes is preferred.

•

A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
