Our organization is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Electrical General Foreman to join our team. Our work locations are spread throughout the county, and extensive travel will be necessary. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience managing heavy industrial electrical projects with budgets of $5 million or more. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional project layout abilities, and the ability to effectively oversee and coordinate all aspects of electrical construction projects.
- Manage and supervise electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals.
- Oversee the activities of electricians and other site personnel.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may occur during the construction process.
- Maintain a valid electrical journeyman’s license as required.
- Minimum of five years of experience as an Electrical General Foreman.
- Proven track record in managing projects with budgets of $5 million or more.
-Keen understanding of Division 500 in the NEC.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Willingness to travel for a duration of up to 18 months.
-The position is a union position: the candidate will be required to join the IBEW or be a member.
