- Job location: Calgary, Alberta – Head Office
- Shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday – Friday)
- Term length: 8 months
- Term starts: January or May 2026

- Assist the Upgrading and Utilities Engineering Team in activities relating to operations, maintenance or construction support, in the use of Engineering and design systems based on Hexagon (Smart Plant) suit of products
- Support the EIM team in identifying improvement in the data centric systems to meet aim in continuous improvement practices and contribute to meet Wildly Important Goals
- Support integration of data across multiple data centric solutions and identify opportunities for automation
- Collaborate with project and operations teams to ensure proper alignment with operations needs and requirements
- Review assets and data to see where we can improve the frequency of maintenance and be able to improve
- Interact with various disciplines and departments within Operations, Maintenance, or project execution teams to identify solutions to issues related to engineering design tools
- Work with the 3D modeling team to identify ways for enhancing their workflows, quality of deliverables from the 3D modeling tool, and facilitate resolution of data inconsistencies
- Help writing code to automate data processes related to engineering information content
- Assist the as-building team reconciliating concurrent engineering information together with actual situation in the field to facilitate as building of documentation and data centric systems
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, or within one year of graduation, in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or Computer Science
- Previous engineering experience is considered an asset
- Computer programming (C++, C#, VBScript, Python) is considered an asset- Previous field experience an asset
- Possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license or equivalent out of province license with a reasonably clean driver abstract and comfortable driving work trucks in a safe manner
