Summary
The Electrical Engineer - 4 designs new and analyzes existing electrical systems towards making cost-effective improvements, conducting research, designing testing methods, completing quality assurance, inspecting the equipment, running diagnostics, as well as training new hires. They ensure projects are completed on time and to specification. To be successful as a Senior Electrical Engineer, they demonstrate strong leadership abilities and organizational skills. Outstanding Senior Electrical Engineers are passionate about engineering developments and able to efficiently troubleshoot systems.
Responsibilities•Developing, reviewing, updating, modifying, and approving electrical design plans and work schedules.
•Liaising with clients and other engineers to ensure projects are completed to specifications.
•Establishing relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, other professionals, and expanding networks.
•Maintaining and improving existing engineering processes.
•Participating in conferences, events, and networking and learning opportunities.
•Drawing up budgets, schedules, company regulations, and various other documents.
•Analyzing existing processes and scheduling meetings to discuss improvement initiatives, eager to learn all available design tools and calculators to be able to help all engineering areas as needed.
•Conducting research, performing diagnostics, and troubleshooting equipment.
•Assisting with recruitment, training, and onboarding of junior engineers.
•Ensuring a safe, positive work environment with excellent problem-solving skills.
Education And Experience
•Electrical Engineering (bachelor’s degree)
•10-15 years’ experience in an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction company(s) with strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
•Experience with ETAP software

Physical Requirements
•Ability to reach, stand, walk, use fingers, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see and perform repetitive motions.
•Ability to sit at a desk and operate a computer for extended periods of time.
•The ability to lift and carry 15 lbs. on a regular basis is required and at times lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required.
