Schendt Engineering Corporation is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer with the ability to both design and manage projects. Duties include full project design responsibilities to include power, lighting, and fire alarm design, equipment selection, plan layout, conducting investigative field surveys of existing electrical systems, specification writing, cost estimating, coordination with other consultants, client interaction, and contract administration services. This position involves working on several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Some local and state travel will be required to perform field investigations, coordinate design requirements, and to build client relations.
· United States Citizenship is required to obtain a valid DOD Identification Card in order work at US military and federal facilities. Please note that employment is contingent upon verification of your identity and eligibility to work in the United States, as required by federal law.
· This position requires a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and the ability to obtain a state of Colorado driver’s license within 45 days of start date.
· This position requires the ability to climb ladders to access equipment platforms and carry tools weighing up to 25 pounds as part of the essential project site investigative functions.
