The Electrical Engineer performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:
· Prepare concept, schematic design, design development and construction documents.
· Design switchgear, substations, transformers, Remote Instrument Enclosures, and Building power systems.
· Conduct code research and incorporate applicable requirements into the design.
· Conduct material research and compile data for the project.
· Conduct field surveys. · Prepare project specifications.
· Communicate with project team and coordinate work.
· Experience with instrumentation, control system design or configuration a plus.
· Electrical Heat Tracing experience is a plus.
The Electrical Engineer (Engineering Specialist) requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Professional License (Electrical) in state of Texas
· Strong experience with ETAP Electrical Power System Analysis software
· Experience with SKM Electrical Software a plus
· Experience with power distribution and subsystems, including 480V and 13kV
· Demonstrated experience in technical execution on both FEL/FEED and EPC projects in the chemical and petrochemical industry.
· Experience estimating labor and material efforts and preparing proposals related to Electrical Engineering jobs is a plus
· Core Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:00 am to 5:30pm
