Electrical Engineer I / Technical Support

We relentlessly strive for excellence & are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer I / TechnicalSupport Candidate with similar ideals. Our growing Corporation is thriving in industrial solutions by supplying Industrial Solvent and Powder Coating Paint Spray Booths, Preparation Stations, Direct Gas Fired Industrial Heaters, Industrial Control Panels, Automotive Spray-Painting Booths, & more. The ideal Candidate must have working knowledge of electrical control systems, have the ability to do electrical load calculations to include maximum amperage capacity, maximum wattage, perform short circuit load calculations, and determine load protection. Have knowledge of current Electrical Standards and Codes.
Job Responsibilities:
•Design electrical control systems by developing schematics, component layout drawings using AutoCAD, bills of materials, and verify control systems after assembly.
Job Duties:
•Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by design and conduct research to qualify accuracy of control systems; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
•Confirm system's and component's capabilities by design and test methods; evaluate properties and compatibility.
•Develop electrical systems by evaluating customer requirements; researching additional assembly methods and materials required beyond standard production.
•Assure product quality by assuring proper testing of finished products, as well as system capabilities.
•Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing information, trends, and identify alternative componentry.
•Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests from dealer network and their technical staff. Assist in troubleshooting procedures over phone and electronic means as available.
•Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations, national code requirements, and OSHA standards.
•Maintain component data base E2 ERP; entering data, editing Bills of Materials.
•Complete projects assuring electrical specifications are met, transferred to dealer network and technical staff.
•Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
•Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skill and Qualifications:
Electronic Systems, Electronics Troubleshooting, Electronic Testing Design, Project Management, Quality Focus, Database Design, Analyzing Information, Reporting Research Results, Attention to Detail, Emphasizing Excellence, Innovation. Computer skills to include ACAD, Excel, Word, Outlook, ERP systems.
