Role Description

We are looking for a self-motivated Electrical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) who is eager to learn and participate in various roles. The candidate will have opportunities to get involved in many different tasks including:

- Automation cabinet design and electrical schematic drawings (AutoCAD Electrical)

- Distribution design, single line diagrams, and layout drawings (AutoCAD)

- Electrical construction estimating and quoting

- Project management / coordination

- Site visits to determine existing conditions, develop scope of work and to review electrical installations

- Engineering design and electrical code review

- Development of documentation standards and operations

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

- 1 - 3 years experience

- Strong problem solving and project management skills

- Strong written and verbal communication

- Strong attention to detail

- Self-motivated and able to prioritize multiple tasks

- Experienced with MS Office (Word, Excel)

- AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical experience is an asset

- Industrial automation (PLC / HMI) experience is an asset

- Project management experience is as asset

- Knowledge of Electrical Code is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
