Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks on construction sites, contributing to the successful completion of projects while adhering to safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

•

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

•

Work alongside licensed electricians to learn proper techniques for handling high voltage and low voltage systems.

•

Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform electrical work.

•

Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.

•

Conduct tests using an Ohmmeter and Voltmeter to ensure systems are functioning correctly.

•

Help with the setup of electrical components on construction sites while following safety protocols.

•

Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in electrical practices.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.

Skills

•

Basic understanding of electrical principles and terminology.

•

Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical systems.

•

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.

•

Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems is a plus.

•

Ability to work effectively on a construction site, following safety guidelines at all times.

•

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

•

Willingness to learn from experienced electricians and take direction effectively.
