Job Summary:Assists the Electric Production Engineer in a variety of engineering- related functions.
Work involves assisting all aspects of electric power generation including;
- Equipment maintenance
- Developing bid packages
- Conducting economic analyses of proposed projects
- Upgrading or modifying various plant equipment including valves, pumps, turbines, generators, fans, bearings, electrical circuits, control systems, chemical systems
- Construction projects
This is an excellent co-op opportunity to learn and gain real world experience in the field of Electric Power Engineering.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree Program for Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred)
- Strong academic credentials
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent knowledge and experience in the use of computer applications
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
- Must maintain a valid Michigan Driver’s License
- Must be 18 years old
