Electric Construction Quality Control Specialist

Join the Colorado Springs Utilities Electric Construction Operations team as an Electric Construction Quality Specialist. Here you'll find more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to lay down roots in a thriving community with an employer of choice. In this job, you will meet operational needs and inspect contractor crews and electrician installations on our distribution & transmission system. In this position, you will work with Planning and Engineering, Construction & Maintenance, and Distribution Control, performing various technical duties. You will be responsible for ensuring safety compliance on job sites for both internal & external customers.

Starting pay for this classification is $63.90/hr. Once you have successfully completed probation, your pay will increase to $67.10/hr.

This job is eligible for relocation assistance.

As an Electric Construction Quality Control Specialist, you will be:

Who You Are… Qualified applicants must have completed a Line Technician Apprenticeship program, and at least two years of experience working as a journey-level line technician is preferred.

A valid, unrestricted driver’s license is required*
